Summary: Sister Survivor: African American Breast Cancer Coalition
Breast Cancer Survivor: You have been asked to participate in this research study because you are a breast cancer survivor. The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychosocial needs of African American breast cancer survivors and gain knowledge about the structure and process that defines the best model of “what works” to establish peer-led, African American breast cancer survivor (AABCS) support groups in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. Your participation in this study is expected to last about two (2) hours.
Support Group Leader: You have been asked to participate in this research study because you are a support-group leader. The purpose of this study is to investigate the psychosocial needs of African American breast cancer survivors and gain knowledge about the structure and process that defines the best model of “what works” to establish peer-led, African American breast cancer survivor (AABCS) support groups in Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. Your participation in this study is expected to last about two (2) hours.
