Summary: Osteoarthritis

Ridgeview Research is conducting a clinical trial for those who have osteoarthritis in the knee. This study will compare the study drug to a commonly used, already marketed drug as well as a placebo (inactive substance) to relieve pain and inflammation.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Men and women 50 years of age and older
  • Osteoarthritis of the knee for at least 6 months.

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects with Gout or Rheumatoid Arthritis
  • Subjects with Fibromyalgia
  • History of allergic reaction to NSAIDs (including aspirin)
  • Subjects who have started physical therapy less than 6 weeks ago
