Breast pain is a common problem in women, especially those of reproductive age. If you are a woman at least 18 years of age and have breast pain, you might be eligible to participate in a clinical research study of a topically applied investigational medication. Participants receive an investigational medication or placebo (cream does not contain any active drug) for 4 menstrual cycles and topically apply the study medication once a day over a specified number of days. A total of 8 office visits will be scheduled during which participants undergo evaluations including physical exam, breast exam, mammogram, laboratory tests and pain assessments.
