Summary: Tiotropium Bromide as an Alternative to Increased Inhaled Corticosteroid in Patients Inadequately Controlled on a Lower Dose of Inhaled Corticosteroid (TALC)

Eligibility Criteria: Asthmatics on Asthma medications, 18 years and older.
Description: Do you have asthma? The Asthma Research Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital is recruiting asthmatics aged 18 and older who have had asthma for at least 6 months. The research study is 46 weeks long and involves 15 visits to the Asthma Research Center, and the compensation is up to $1970. Study is designed to determine whether adding tiotropium bromide is superior to doubling the dose of an inhaled corticosteroid. All study medication will be provided and are FDA approved.
