Trial Information
Summary: Malignant Glioma (Cancerous tumor in the brain) - Adults
You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:
- Are 18 years of age or older
- Have been diagnosed with malignant glioma
You may not participate in this study if you:
- Have had chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, or investigational agents within 4 weeks
- Have any acute viral, bacterial, or fungal infection that requires systemic therapy within 14 days
- Have a hypersensitivity to paclitaxel
- Have had a severe toxic reaction to previous taxane treatment
- Have had treatment with P450 CYP 3A4 or CYP 2C8 enzyme-inducing anti-convulsant drugs, including but not limited to phenytoin, phenobarbitol, carbamazepine, fosphenytoin, primidone and oxcarbazepine within 14 days
- Have known or suspected, acute or chronic, active Hepatitis B or Hepatitis C or HIV/AIDS
- Have a respiratory, cardiac, liver or kidney disease or any other organ system dysfunction
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
