Trial Information

Summary: A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, subjective study to assess the efficacy of APD125 in patients with primary insomnia characterized by difficulty maintaining sleep.

Healthy volunteers between the ages of 18-65 who have difficulties sleeping are wanted for a clinical research study of an investigational medication. Qualified participants must have had difficulties sleeping for the past month and must have had trouble maintaining sleep during the middle of the night. This study involves 5 daytime office visits over a period of approximately 1 month. Evening and weekend appointments available. Financial compensation and no-cost medical exams will be provided for qualified participants. Health insurance is not required and there is no cost for participation.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Be 18-65 years old
  • Be in good general health
  • Have had difficulties sleeping for the past month
  • Have had difficulties maintaining sleep during the middle of the night
