Summary: Generalized Anxiety Disorder

The purpose of this study is to find out if the study drug can treat GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder) and to find out if this drug has any effects on other disorders that may be associated with GAD.

Study drug and study procedures will be made available to you at no cost.

To qualify, you must:

  • Be at least 18-65 years old
  • Diagnosed with GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder)

You will not qualify if you:

  • Are pregnant or breast-feeding
  • Have a history of the following: renal, endocrine, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, hepatic, pancreatic, neurologic, active infections, immunological, or allergic diseases including allergies.
  • Have any of the following within the last 6 months: diagnosed with major depressive disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic disorder, agoraphobia, posttraumatic disorder, anorexia, bulimia, caffeine-induced anxiety disorder or social anxiety disorder
  • Have any of the following past or current diagnosis: schizophrenia, psychotic disorder, delirum, demention, bipolar disorder, cyclothymic disorder or dissociative disorders.
