Summary: Post Heart Attack Ventricular Remodeling Study CSPP100A2340
Novartis is conducting this clinical research study is to determine if combining standard medical therapies with an investigational drug is safe and effective for participants who are 18 years of age and older and suffered a heart attack which may have caused a decrease in their heart's ability to pump blood. An "investigational drug" is a drug that is being tested and is not approved for sale in the United States by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Participants will be required to take 3 tablets a day and visit the study center 10 times over 38 weeks.
