Summary: Advanced Solid Tumors Study CLBH589B2111

Novartis is conducting this clinical trial is to find out the effect that food has on a study drug called LBH589 as well as the overall effect that the study drug has on participants with advanced solid tumors that has progressed despite treatment. An "investigational drug" is a drug that is being tested and is not approved for sale in the United States by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Participants will be asked to visit the study doctor's office for a screening visit, then 3 to 4 times a week for the first 3 weeks for treatment and/or evaluation, and then 1 to 2 times a week for evaluation every week thereafter. Each visit should take about 1-3 hours, however on some days participants will be in the office for approximately 8 to 10 hours.
