Trial Information

Summary: Combined Atherogenic Dyslipidemia

Phase 3 randomized, double blind study to evaluate the safety and efficacy of a triple therapy of a once daily study drug combined with 2 already marketed drugs. This study will last 16 weeks and patients will be compensated for their time and travel upon completion of study.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Male or female 18 or older
  • Fasting lipid results before baseline visit of TG level >150 and <400, HDL-C <40 for males and <50 for females and an LDL-C of >130
  • Must have life expectancy greater than 6 months at the pre-screening visit

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Type I Diabetes or uncontrolled type II Diabetes
  • Hepatitis B or C or hepatic cirrhosis
  • Significant renal or neurological disorder
  • Any unstable cardiovascular disease
  • Malignancy within 5 years (except non-malignant skin cancer)
  • Ketoacidosis
