Trial Information

Summary: Sharp, shooting pain in your legs or feet and you are diabetic? It could be peripheral neuropathy

This study is comparing different doses of medications in the treatment for painful diabetic neuropathy

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Must be a controlled Type 1 or Type 2 Diabetic
  • Pain must be greater than a 4 on a pain scale of 0-11 each day for 7 days
  • Must be 18 years or older, Male or Female

If female is of childbearing age must use confirmed method of birth control

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Be able to stop Prohibited medciations
  • No herpatic or renal dysfunction
  • No uncontrolled Hypertension
  • No psychiatric disorders
