Summary: A single-blind, placebo-controlled sleep laboratory study of the acute effects of an investigational medication in Restless Legs Syndrome.

Male and Female adults who have been diagnosed with Restless Legs Syndrome are wanted for a clinical research study of an investigational medication for Restless Legs Syndrome. This study involves 1 daytime office visit and 5 to 8 overnight stays at our facility in midtown Manhattan for over a period of approximately 6 weeks. Qualified participants will not be required to stay overnight for the entire 6 weeks. Financial compensation and no-cost medical exams will be provided for those who qualify. Health insurance is not required and there is no cost for participation.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with Restless Legs Syndrome
  • Must not be taking any Restless Legs Syndrome Medication or must be able to discontinue RLS medication 30 days prior to first overnight visit
  • Be in good general health
