Summary: Parkinson's Disease Study CELC200AUS14

Novartis is conducting this clinical trial is to test the effects and safety of the study drug StalevoŽ compared to the effects of immediate-release carbidopa/levodopa on end-of-dose wearing off in participants who are between 30 and 75 years old and have Parkinson's Disease (PD). End-of-dose wearing off is when symptoms begin to come back before it is time to take the next dose of medicine. The study drug StalevoŽ was approved by the United States Food & Drug Administration in June 2003 for the treatment of patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease.

Participants will be required to visit the study center 3 times over an 8 week period.
