Can losing weight help me to control my high blood sugar?
9 out of 10 people who have diabetes are also overweight. Research shows that losing weight may help to control high blood sugar. If you are a diabetic and currently trying to control your condition with diet and exercise or an oral medication, you may qualify for a clinical research study for weight loss. If qualified, you will receive all study-related care, dietary counseling, and investigational medication for weight loss at no cost. Compensation of up to $550 for time and travel is available to those who qualify.
