Summary: Have you been diagnosed with Acute Diverticulitis and are experiencing flare up of symptoms including abdominal pain?

Discovery Clinical Research is currently conducting a clinical research study of an investigational medication to treat the symptoms of Acute Diverticulitis.

To qualify for this trial study participants:

• Must be between 40 - 48 years of age
• Have been clinically diagnosed with Acute Diverticulitis
• Have had a CT scan within 14 days of the first visit
• Experiencing a 1^st, 2^nd or 3^rd attack with symptoms associated with Acute Diverticulitis

Participation in this study includes a 12-week treatment of study medication with 8 office visits
