Summary: Migraine
Ridgeview Research is testing an investigational drug (inhaled form of dihydroergotamine) for safety and efficacy in treating migraine headaches. You will have a 50/50 chance of receiving different doses of the study medication or of receiving a placebo, a look-alike with no study drug. Subjects who complete the study will have an option of enrolling into an open label extension of the study where everyone will receive the active study drug.
Patient Inclusion Criteria:
- 18 to 65 years of age
- Nausea, sensitivity to both light and sound
- Pain is aggravated during activity
Patient Exclusion Criteria:
- History of cluster or tension headaches
- Have had cancer in the past 5 years
- Sensitivity to Dihydroergotamine in the past
