Summary: Cocaine Dependency Study

The Psychopharmacology Research Clinic at LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport is currently enrolling 45 adults 18 and older in a clinical research study to evaluate an investigational medication for the treatment of Cocaine Dependency.

To be included in the study, participants must:

  • Must be 18-65 years of age
  • Must have DSM-IV criteria for cocaine dependency
  • Must not have a history of hepatitis
  • Must not have any prominent DSM-IV axis I disorders other than cocaine dependence


All qualified participants will receive study-related care, clinic visits and study medications at no cost.

Assistance with transportation may be available.
