Summary: Ascending single-dose study of the safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics of GSI-136 administered orally to healthy young and healthy elderly subjects.

Healthy volunteers wanted for a clinical research study of an investigational medication. This study involves 2 daytime office visits and one or two 4 day / 3 night inpatient stays over a period of approximately 6 weeks. Financial compensation up to $1,275 and no-cost medical exams will be provided for qualified participants. Health insurance is not required and there is no cost for participation.

Eligible candidates must:

  • Be between the ages of 18-50 OR 65 years or older
  • Be in good general health
  • Live a clean lifestyle
  • Not be taking regular medications, including oral contraceptives
