Trial Information
Summary: Metastatic Cancer to the Brain - Adults
People with metastatic cancer to the brain are asked to
participate in a research study being conducted by North Shore
University Hospital.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have been diagnosed with metastatic cancer to the
brain
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Have a pacemaker or defibrillators, non-compatible aneurysm
clips, shrapnel, or other internal ferromagnetic objects that may
interfere with the MRI imaging
- Have a known sensitivity to gadolinium-DTPA
- Are not able to receive corticosteroids
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant
during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
