The purpose of this study is to evaluate the relationship between sleep and new learning in people with bipolar disorder compared to those with schizophrenia and to people with no psychiatric illness. Participation involves visiting the Bipolar Clinic and Research Program at Massachusetts General Hospital on two consecutive days and will take approximately 1 hour in total. This study involves filling out questionnaires and taking a computerized finger tapping task. You will be paid $45-55 for participating and we will reimburse you for parking.
