Trial Information
Summary: Do you have MS or ALS
and have a hard time
controlling your emotions?
Pseudobulbar Affect (PBA) is a condition characterized by
frequent involuntary episodes of inappropriate laughing or crying
that are out of proportion to the situation at hand. PBA is
associated with a number of neurological conditions. The outbursts
can occur spontaneously or in response to stimuli such as questions
or events. Regardless of its origins, the syndrome can have a
number of problematic social consequences and a strong negative
impact in quality of life.
Our site is conducting a research study of an investigational
new drug for Pseudobulbar Affect. If you are interested in finding
