Summary: The Effect of â2-Adrenergic Polymorphisms on the Bronchoprotective Effects of Regular Salmeterol Treatment in Asthma

Do you have exercise-induced asthma? The Asthma Research Center at Brigham and Women's Hospital is recruiting asthmatics between the ages of 18-50 years who have exercise-induced asthma. The research study is 4 weeks long and involves 3-4 study visits to the Asthma Research Center. The compensation is up to $500. The purpose of this study is to find out how one’s genetic background influences the therapeutic response to salmeterol (Sereventâ) for treatment of exercise-induced asthma.
