Summary: An International, Double-Blind, Parallel-Group, Placebo-Controlled, Randomized Study: Evaluation of the Efficacy and Safety of Brivaracetam in Subjects (> 16 to 70 years old) with Partial Onset Seizures.

The main purpose of this study is to find out how safe and effective different doses of brivaracetam are in reducing the frequency of seizures in patients who have partial onset seizures.

Qualified participants must be:

  • between 16 and 70 years of age
  • experiencing partial onset seizures and are regularly taking one or two other antiepileptic drugs.
