Summary: SWOG S0229: A Randomized Trial Assessing the Effects of Exercise on Patients with Locally Advanced Lung Cancer Undergoing Curative Intent Combined Modality Therapy

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have been treated with chemotherapy and radiotherapy for lung cancer that cannot be treated with surgery.  The purpose of this study is to test a supervised exercise plan with educational information as compared to educational information alone in subjects receiving chemotherapy and radiation therapy for locally advanced lung cancer.  Your participation in this study is expected to last for nine months.
