Summary: Clinical trial to test a study drug in people with Nonvalvular Atrial Fibrillation
The purpose of this study is to compare the safety and
effectiveness of a study drug to warfarin in preventing stroke or
clots in subjects with atrial fibrillation and risk factors for
stroke.
Study drug and study procedures will be made available to you at
no cost.
To qualify, you must:
You will not qualify if you:
- Are pregnant or breast-feeding
- Have moderate to severe mitral stenosis (narrowing)
- Have planned major surgery
- Have participated in a clinical trial within the past 30
days
