Summary: Clinical trial to test a study drug in people with HIV 1
This study is being conducted to determine: safety (how well
your body tolerates the study drug and what side effects you may
experience) and effectiveness (how well the study drug works). How
much and for how long the study drug stays in the blood and if
there is any responses of your immune system to the study drug.
Study drug and study procedures will be made available to you at
no cost.
To qualify, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have not taken any anti-retroviral therapy (ART) within the
last 12 weeks
You will not qualify if you:
- Are pregnant or breast-feeding
- Have a history of active hepatitis
- Have chronic diarrhea
- Have had any immunization or vaccination (including a flu shot)
within the past 30 days
- Have participated in a clinical drug or device trial within the
past 30 days
