Summary: Have you been diagnosed with Migraine headaches?

Have you:

• Had migraines for more than 12 months?
• Tried preventative drugs but still have migraines?

Are you:

• Between 18 and 70 years old?

If you answered yes to all of these questions you may be able to participate in a new clinical trial call ESCAPE, sponsored by St. Jude Medical.

The trial may help find a new treatment for migraine sufferers.

Several clinical experiences have shown an association between the presence of a PFO (patent foramen ovale)-small hole in one of the hearts-chambers and migraine headaches. The ESCAPE Migraine trial is designed to study whether closing this defect will help migraine sufferers.
