Summary: Clinical trial to test a study vaccine for Meningococcal disease in healthy infants
The purpose of this study is to test the safety and immune
(ability to fight infection) response to the study vaccine for
Meningococcal disease when given to healthy infants beginning at
two months of age.
Study drug and study procedures will be made available to you at
no cost.
To qualify, your infant must be:
- 2 months old (55-89 days)
Your child will not qualify if they:
- Has previously received a meningococcal vaccine, D,T,P, IPV,
OPV
- Have a history of asthma, anaphylactic shock, urticaria, or
other allergic reaction after previous vaccinations
- Have HIV infection
