Summary: Mucositis with Chemotherapy - Adults

Montefiore Medical Center is conducting a research study in subjects who had experienced mucositis after their last cycle of chemotherapy for cancer.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are 18 years of age or older
  • Have been diagnosed with metastatic, non-curable malignancy (tumor) and receiving chemotherapy

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Have received radiotherapy
  • Have had major surgery within the past 4 weeks
  • Have a history of gastrointestinal tumors or squamous cell cancer
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 28 days
