Summary: A Double-Blind, Placebo Controlled Study of Maca Root for the Treatment of Sexual Dysfunction Associated with the Treatment Regimen for Bipolar Disorder
Research Study of a Natural Compound for Sexual Dysfunction Associated with the Treatment Regimen for Bipolar Disorder
Are you taking medication for bipolar disorder and experiencing sexual side effects?
If you are a female, aged 18-80 and experiencing sexual dysfunction due to psychotropic medications for bipolar disorder, you may be eligible to participate at no cost to you in a 12-week research study of a natural compound called Maca Root. Maca Root has been used for centuries in South America for nutritional and medicinal purposes. This study is designed to determine whether Maca Root is effective in the treatment of sexual dysfunction associated with the treatment regimen for bipolar disorder.
