Summary: Abnormal Pelvic Mass - Adults

People with abnormal pelvic mass are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Montefiore Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are a female at least 18 years of age
  • Have abnormal pelvic mass
  • Have not had any treatment for any type of cancer

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Will not have surgery to confirm the diagnosis of ovarian cancer
  • Are on hormonal replacement therapy
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
