Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma or Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) Adults
People with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma or CLL are asked to
participate in a research study being conducted by Long Island
Jewish Medical Center.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL) or
chronic lymphoma leukemia (CLL) and have been previously treated
for it.
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Have not been previously treated for NHL or CLL
- Have an accumulation of fluid around the lining of the lungs
and chest with possibility of lymphoma
- Are resistant to treatment with Rituximab
- Are HIV positive or have active Hepatitis B or C
- Have an autoimmune disease (your immune system attacks itself
by mistake)
- Have an infection or have had to take antibiotics within 5
days, use corticosteroids (such as prednisone) within 2 weeks or
have other medical or psychiatric conditions
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant
during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
