Summary: A Research Database for Allogeneic Unrelated Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation

You have/your child has been asked to participate in this research study because you are/your child is scheduled to receive an unrelated donor bone marrow, blood stem cell, or cord blood transplant facilitated by the National Marrow Donor Program^â (NMDP).  The purpose of this study is to collect demographic, and medical information on recipients of an unrelated donor marrow, blood stem cell or cord blood transplant for a research database.  Your/your child’s participation in this study is expected to last indefinitely, as information will be obtained from your medical records throughout your/your child’s lifetime.
