Summary: Immune Studies in Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML)
You have been asked to participate in this research study because you either have been diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML), a disease involving blood cells, OR are a potential stem cell donor for a patient with CML. The purpose of this study is to determine how immune cells from individuals with CML interact with leukemic cells in order to develop a vaccine against CML cells. Your participation in this study is expected to last only for the period of obtaining samples, although it is possible that additional samples will be requested. It is anticipated that a total of approximately 10-20 subjects per year will participate in this study.
