Summary: Hollywood Arthritis Samples

You are invited to participate in a research study of responses of your immune system to normal proteins found in joints.  These normal proteins may be attacked by the immune system during the disease Rheumatoid Arthritis. The following information is provided in order to help you make an informed decision whether or not to participate.  We hope to learn some basic information about autoimmune diseases such as Rheumatoid Arthritis.  You are invited to participate in this study because you are being treated for arthritis or other joint trauma.  About 100 subjects will take part in this 3 year study.  This research is being funded by the Arthritis Foundation.
