Summary: High Cholesterol 65 years and up

Are you 65 years of age and older and have been diagnosed with High Cholesterol? Tampa Bay Medical Research is seeking volunteers to participate in a research study testing an investigational medication for high cholesterol.

Qualified participants will receive all study-related medical exams, study medication, and lab tests at no cost. You may be reimbursed for study-related time and travel.

No insurance is necessary.

PatientInclusionCriteria

  • You must be 65 years of age or older.
  • You must have High Cholesterol
  • You must have cardiac health issues, to include: High Blood Pressure; Stroke; Diabetes; Obesity; Pacemaker, etc.

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Participants must not be taking Niacin.
  • Participants must not be currently taking Vitorin.
  • Participants must not weigh less than 100 lbs.
