Summary: Are you taking ibuprofen, AleveŽ, or AdvilŽ every day to manage your chronic arthritis pain, or low back pain?
Advanced Clinical Therapeutics in Tucson Arizona are currently
recruiting participants for a clinical research study of an
investigational drug that is being tested to see if it can
effectively reduce the risk of developing ulcers in the digestive
tract without reducing their effectiveness in people who take a
non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug (NSAID) daily.
To qualify for participation in this study, you must
be:
- 18 years of age or older
- Currently have been taking a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory
medicine such as
- Ibuprofen, AleveŽ or AdvilŽ for pain for at least 6 months and
anticipate taking for the next 6 months
Study participation includes, at no charge to
you:
- Study-related visits
- Physical exams (by board certified physicians)
- Study-related laboratory evaluations
- Investigational medication
Compensation for time and travel may be provided.
