Summary: Would you be interested in participating in a pediatric clinical research trial with treatment for Pediatric Crohn’s Disease?

We want to test how your body responds to an experimental medicine that may help children like you with pediatric Crohn’s Disease (CD). This medicine is called adalimumab. The medicine may help with the problems of your Crohn’s Disease such as diarrhea, stomach pain and feeling fatigue. We want to see how well this medicine works in children with pediatric CD. We will be testing how the medicine affects you and how your body handles the medicine. This medicine has also been given to adults.

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Subjects between the ages of 6 and 17 (inclusive) Have a diagnosis of CD for great than 12 weeks prior to screening and will be confirmed by endoscopy or radiologic evaluation
  • Have a calculated PCDAI score greater than 30
  • Have adequate cardiac, renal and hepatic function
  • Female subjects who are either sexually active and are of child-bearing potential should be practicing a form of birth control during the study and for 150 days after the last dose of study medication
  • For subjects that have previously received infliximab, the subjects must have had an initial response and then discontinued use due to loss of response or must have discontinued use due to intolerance to the medication.
