Summary: Spectradigital - New Investigational Test to Measure Resistance to Anti-HIV Drugs
This study investigates the efficacy of an in vitro diagnostic
device, HIV SpectraPoint, in HIV positive volunteers with prior
resistance to antiretroviral medications.
Patient Inclusion Criteria
- HIV-1 positive adults at least 18 years of age,
- HIV-1 RNA greater than 500 copies/mL
- Documented genotypic evidence of resistance to any currently
available antiretroviral drug
Patient Exclusion Criteria
- Acute or chronic Hepatitis B
