Summary: Do You Have Ulcerative Colitis (Encinitas)

Do you have Ulcerative Colitis? If so, and you are in remission and 18 years of age or older, you may be eligible to participate in the QDIEM Research Study.

QDIEM is a Clinical Research Trial designed to study the use of once daily-Mesalamine delayed release tablets for the maintenance of remission of Ulcerative Colitis.

If you are:

• 18 years of age or older and have a know history of Ulcerative Colitis.
• Have you had at least one flare up of your disease in the last 18 months?
• Have you been taking Mesalamine at the same dose level for the past 3 months?
• During the past 3 months, have you received any treatments that affect the immune system (such as Corticosteroids, Azathioprine, or Remicade?
• Do you have any history of known liver or kideny disease?
