Summary: Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy (DPN)

Diabetic neuropathy typically affects the nerves of the limbs, mostly of the feet. The most common symptoms are numbness or insensitivity to pain or temperature, tingling or burning, significant pain, increased sensitivity to touch and loss of balance or coordination.

If you suffer from this condition you may be eligible to participate in a clinical trial.

Patient Inclusion Criteria:

  • Males or females 18 years of age or older.
  • Patient has a history of diabetes mellitus type 1 or 2.
  • Painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy with onset at least 6 months prior to screening.

Patient Exclusion Criteria:

  • Uncontrolled concurrent disease.
  • History of stroke or myocardial infarction, within the past year.
  • Females who are pregnant, nursing, or planning pregnancy.
  • History or presence of psychiatric disorders.

Other Inclusion/Exclusion criteria may apply.

Qualified participants will receive, at not charge, study medication, study-related medical care, and laboratory evaluations.

Qualified participants may be eligible to receive compensation for participation.
