Summary: The Jacobi Medical Center is conducting a study to determine the safety and effectiveness of using your own T-Cells which are modified genetically to control your HIV

To qualify, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Diagnosis of HIV-1
  • If you have well-controlled virus and T-Cell counts above 350

You will not qualify if you:

  • Are pregnant or breast-feeding
  • Have a history of any type of cancer
  • Have been treated with any HIV experimental vaccine within the previous 6 months or any gene therapy
  • Have chronic hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection
  • Have diabetes
