Summary: A Phase II Multicenter Study of CNTO 328 (Anti-IL-6 Monoclonal Antibody) in Subjects with Relapsed or Refractory Multiple Myeloma
You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have multiple myeloma (MM) that has relapsed (returned) after previously responding to treatment or that is refractory (no longer responding) to treatment. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of the investigational drug CNTO 328 in the treatment of multiple myeloma. Your participation in this study is expected to last about 12 months and then there is a follow-up period that will last until the study ends. The study will end 16 months after the last subject is entered into this study.
