Summary: Invasive Fungal Infections (IFI) Surveillance Initiative: Protocol #001
You have/your child has been asked to participate in this research study because you have/your child has an invasive fungal infection or are/is suspected of having one. An invasive fungal infection is a disease caused by a fungus (mold or yeast) that has entered your body and may cause serious harm. The purpose of this study is to collect information from many people with invasive fungal infections in order to help doctors increase their knowledge about this disease. Information from your/your child’s medical records would be collected for up to 1 year.
