You have been asked to participate in this research study because you are over the age of 18 and being treated for breast disease at the City of Hope. The purpose of this study is to provide a comprehensive system to collect, catalogue, and store biological specimens from breast diseases and link it to information from medical records. These specimens and medical information will be used in research studies that will look for molecular and biological clues that may lead to earlier identification and diagnosis, better indicators of disease progression, and more effective treatment strategies. Your participation in this study is expected to last (your lifetime or until you withdraw your consent to participate.) The specimens collected from you will continue to be used in research studies as long as there are specimens left.
