Trial Information

Summary: Immunophenotype and Function of Bone Marrow-Infiltrating Lymphocytes in Patients with Myeloid Leukemias

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have been diagnosed with acute or chronic myeloid leukemia; you have received chemotherapy, imatinib (Gleevec) therapy, autologous or allogeneic stem cell transplant and are now in remission (have no evidence of disease by standard clinical tests); and your routine follow up includes blood tests and bone marrow aspirations.  The purpose of this study is to collect blood and bone marrow samples to do research on immune cells called marrow infiltrating lymphocytes (MILs).  Your participation in this study is expected to last only the length of time required for the one-time collection of blood and bone marrow.
