Trial Information
Summary: Clostridium Difficile associated Diarrhea- Adults
People with Clostridium Difficile associated Diarrhea are asked
to participate in a research study being conducted by Mount Sinai
Medical Center.
You may be eligible to participate in this study if
you:
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Have signs and symptoms of severe diarrhea
You may not participate in this study if
you:
- Have toxic megacolon (dilation of the large intestine)
- History of ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease
- Hypersensitivity to vancomycin
- Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant
during the study
- Have participated in another research study within the last 30
days
