Summary: Non – Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) - Adults and minors

People with non-small cell lung cancer are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Fernando J. Camacho, MD and Mark A. Ramirez, MD, PC.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are at least 18 years of age
  • Have been diagnosed with NSCLC

You may not participate in this study if you:

  • Are currently taking any anti-cancer therapy
  • Have had treatment with any cytotoxic (cell-killing) agents within the last 3 or 4 weeks
  • Have any gastrointestinal abnormalities
  • Have a known brain tumor
  • Have a known history of HIV infection or chronic Hepatitis B or C
  • Have significant cardiovascular disease
  • Had major surgery within 4 weeks
  • Have dementia or significantly altered mental status
  • Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
  • Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
