Summary: Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Dose-Finding Study of the Effect of GTx-024 on Muscle Wasting(Cachexia) in Patients with Cancer

Study goal is to evaluate the effectiveness of the drug GTx-024 on muscle wasting with chemotherapy patients being treated for Non-small cell lung cancer.

Patient Inclusion Criteria

  • Must be receiving, or going to receive chemotherapy.
  • Weight loss of 2% or greater over past 6 months.
  • BMI of 35 or less.

Patient Exclusion Criteria

  • Males less than 45 years of age.
  • Women who are not postmenopausal.
