Summary: Surgically Postmenopausal Women Needed for Decreased Sexual Desire Study

Title: A Phase III, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Multi-Center Study of the Safety and Efficacy of LibigelŪ for the Treatment of Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder in Surgically Menopausal Women

Are you suffering from lack of sexual desire?
Dr. Anita Clayton with the UVA Health System Center for Psychiatric Clinical Research is conducting a research study of an investigational drug for symptoms of decreased sexual desire. You may qualify if you are between the ages of 30 65, have had a hysterectomy with both ovaries removed, are on a stable dose of estrogen and are in a stable relationship with one man.
If you qualify and are enrolled, you will receive investigational drug and regular medical evaluations related to the study at no cost to you. You will be asked to complete diaries. There are 9 clinic visits over 8 months - each clinic visit lasting 1-2 hours. Compensation is provided.
